Twenty years on dancefloors taught me everything. And also taught me what is lost when ethics erode — everyone's space, kindness, authentic connection with the music.
The idea is simple: transform certain human values into cultural standards. Mantras, visual tools and a mobile app to protect what makes the night magical — because ultimately, what unites us all is the music.
« Before being a DJ, I am a dancer. And faced with the corrosion of the dance bubble that is shrinking, disrupted by sexual and social misconduct, it is the dancer in me who created the S.O.U.L. Montréal movement, in order to propagate an ideal of underground ethics. This initiative intends to be a manifestation of the "Spirit of Underground Living", and wishes to reach all dance floors that respect music first.... »
